Fearless as he is friendly, smart as he is bold, crafty as he is fast, Kendrik is a highly versatile terrier in mind, body and spirit. He is a handsome terrier, standing just under 14" tall with a striking head, lovely bone and a hard, dense double coat. A well muscled athlete, he is flexible and agile with endurance and stamina to spare. Kendrik puts his athleticism and conformation together in breathtaking movement with a far reaching stride that is both effortless and efficient. Kendrik is an exceptionally outgoing and gregarious fellow who has most certainly never met a stranger. He possesses and light hearted sense of fun, is quite the comedian and prankster, bringing with him a great deal of joy and laughter wherever he goes.

His charm is perhaps only exceeded by his bold tenacity and true grit. Fearless yet cautious, persistent and determined with a tireless work ethic, Kendrik dedicates himself to the task at hand with an enthusiasm and exuberance that cannot be rivaled. In the field he brings a sharp mind and keen nose together with strength, endurance and stamina, ready and willing to meet each challenge. In sports, he combines these same traits together with his easy going, adventurous spirit-always striving to add an element of fun and excitement to every task. He is an absolute joy to live and work with. In July of 2006 Kendrik earned the Parson Russell Terrier Association of America's Versatile Dog Award (VDA).

Kendrik passed away unexpectedly in August 2006 after an altercation with a hawk. He will be forever loved and remembered by all of us as the goofy, adventurous fellow with the big grin and incredible sense of humor. My heart is truly broken and while I find it very difficult say goodbye I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend five wonderful years with a truly amazing friend.We feel very fortunate to share our lives with such a wonderful terrier who is a steadfast companion, tireless athlete, and willing worker rolled into one fun loving, ever smiling package. We are forever grateful to Laura Frizzell of Dalwhinnie Farm for trusting us with such a very special dog.
