At The Jacks Wild, our goal is to produce versatile Parson Russell Terriers who excel in work, sport, and play while being well-suited for loving homes. We are passionate about maintaining the breed’s integrity and ensuring that each dog has the physical and mental traits necessary to thrive in various environments.
We breed on a limited basis, prioritizing quality over quantity. This approach allows us to dedicate the necessary time and resources to each litter, ensuring the best possible start for our puppies. As a result, we are happy to provide referrals to other reputable breeders when we do not have puppies available.

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming breeding between two remarkable Parson Russell Terriers who truly embody everything we love about this breed—grit, versatility, humor, and heart.
One of the unique challenges of breeding high-level competition dogs is timing. We often choose to wait so our girls can fully prove themselves in the hunt field and in sport. Because of Smash’s age and our limited frozen semen from Sunny, we’ve worked closely with our reproduction specialist to develop a breeding strategy that gives this pairing the best possible opportunity for success.
About Smash
Smash is a beautiful, athletic smooth-coated Parson with a huge personality and endless drive. She greets people with full-body wiggles and kisses, while her approach to dogs is all flailing, floppy, heavy-metal chaos—in the most charming way possible.
Fast, flexible, and fiercely athletic, Smash is the embodiment of power and agility. She boasts gorgeous bone, a thick natural tail, and a beautiful head and expression.
Smash also shines as a national-level dock jumping competitor, with a personal best of 20 feet, and she is steadily closing in on her Rally Obedience titles—adding to an already impressive list of accomplishments across multiple sports.
In Barn Hunt, NASDA, and earthdog, she works quarry with nearly polite precision. But in the hunt field? Anything but polite. She has confidently worked marmot, raccoon, and even an unexpected badger—bringing determination, grit, and a solid dose of common sense.
And if you ever wonder where she is—don’t worry. Smash’s voice carries miles.
About Aden
Aden is a handsome, medium-boned, athletic dog with wonderful flexibility even as a veteran. He has a dense, short, hard very lightly broken coat and carries smooth.
He is sunshine, snuggles, and sharp pointy teeth all at once—the happiest, smiliest stone-cold murder muffin you’ll ever meet. At home, he’s gentle and affectionate, happily soaking up neck scratches and befriending everyone he meets.
But on live quarry? He is pure fire.
Our breed standard allows for working scars, but it doesn’t quite prepare you for the reality of a true working terrier. Born with perfect dentition, Aden has since lost nearly 22 teeth—shattered, cracked, or obliterated—through earthdog, earthwork, and barn hunt. Wood, rock, metal, PVC… if it stands between him and his work, he’s going through it.
And yet, in a split second, he turns from quarry-focused intensity to soft, loving cuddles. That balance is the essence of a real working Parson. Aden’s offspring are known for their wonderful temperaments, humor, gorgeous heads and coats, flexibility, and their can-do working attitudes.
